Tucson House Resident Needs Assessment

Project Overview

Tucson House is a public housing community located in Barrio Blue Moon – a neighborhood just north of downtown Tucson. In the summer of 2023, Tucson Housing and Community Development (HCD) received a $50 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to remodel Tucson House. The grant also provides funding to enhance health and social services for Tucson House residents. The Drachman Institue is supporting a University of Arizona research team, led by Atticus Jaramillo and Arlie Adkins, that is collaborating with Tucson HCD to develop a plan for enhancing resident services at Tucson House.
