Project Overview
1150 E. 15th St. (super insulated metal panel wall system). Funded by City of Tucson IDA Loan, Civano Demonstration Grant, and Pima County GO Bonds; designed and constructed by the CAPLA students and faculty.
The total cost for the residence (including general conditions, warranties, loan interest, and escrow was $114,000. City of Tucson down payment assistance reduced the mortgage cost to $98,000. Purchased by the Daniel and Starlight Armenta family. This is a built residence for a low-income family with 2 peer-reviewed conference papers, 1 invited journal article, and received 2 design awards.
