Project Overview
An affordable residence (rammed earth construction) was built at 1073 S. San Antonio Drive. Funded by Chicanos Por La Causa; designed and constructed by the CAA students and faculty. Complete in March 2006 at a total cost of $74,000. Purchased by the Jose and Cecelia Perez family through a HUD home ownership program for low income families. This is a built residence for low income family with 6 peer-reviewed conference papers, 3 journal articles, 1 book chapter, 1 book case study, and featured 3 design awards
